We are working with a globally recognised entertainment brand to recruit an experienced Writer / Editorial Content Creator.

This is an exciting opportunity to create engaging editorial content for a highly engaged global fan community, contributing to features, news articles, quizzes, and audience-focused content across a major digital platform.

The Role

You'll be responsible for creating and publishing editorial content, supporting content planning, developing creative ideas, and helping deliver engaging experiences for fans. The role combines content creation, digital publishing, audience engagement, and editorial collaboration across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing long-form editorial features, news content, and quizzes
• Supporting editorial planning and content ideation
• Publishing content through a CMS
• Maintaining content records and workflows using Airtable
• Monitoring content performance and audience insights
• Collaborating with internal content, social, and CRM teams
• Ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and canon accuracy
• Supporting special editorial projects and occasional event coverage

Requirements

• Minimum five years' editorial experience
• Proven experience writing for online publications
• Strong editorial writing portfolio
• Experience using content management systems
• Airtable proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills
• Deep familiarity with Harry Potter canon across books and films

Desirable Experience

• Social media content creation
• Quiz writing experience
• Community or fandom engagement experience
• Google Analytics knowledge
• Experience creating social-first content
• Comfortable representing a brand publicly or appearing on camera
