Christy Media Solutions is working with an internationally recognised technology company that develops mission-critical video networking and visual collaboration solutions used by organisations around the world.
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Designer with strong experience in embedded hardware development, high-speed digital circuit design and FPGA/CPLD technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop board-level hardware designs using proven technologies
- Support architecture definition and hardware documentation
- Create and maintain register maps and design documentation
- Review and approve PCB layouts with a focus on EMC performance
- Work closely with PCB layout teams throughout the design process
- Develop FPGA/CPLD logic using VHDL and simulation tools
- Validate and debug prototypes using laboratory test equipment
- Support signal integrity and EMC simulation activities
- Assist with EMI, ESD and environmental testing
- Evaluate new technologies and design trade-offs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Hardware Development, Hardware Design or Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing high-speed digital circuits and embedded systems
- FPGA/CPLD development experience
- Experience with Signal Integrity and EMC simulations
- Experience using PADS Pro, OrCAD or Altium
- Strong communication skills in French and English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within design teams
Desirable Experience
- Audio/Video hardware development or instrumentation experience
