We are seeking a Senior Broadcast IT Event Engineer with strong IT networking expertise to support the deployment and operation of advanced Private 5G and broadcast network infrastructure across major international sports events.
This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge live production projects, helping deliver low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity solutions that support nextgeneration broadcast workflows on location at live sports events in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of complex IT network infrastructure within a live outside broadcast production environment.
- Plan, implement and operate Private 5G and IT networks for international live events and broadcast productions.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, stability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across network environments.
- Support the integration of broadcast systems within Private 5G infrastructures.
- Contribute to the development of innovative 5G-based solutions for live production applications.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing large-scale IT networks within live production or broadcast environments.
- Expertise in IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs and firewall technologies
- Experience in senior-level technical or project leadership roles.
- Knowledge of broadcast and live production workflows
- Private 5G, RF or mobile network experience would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with technologies such as Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, pfSense, Mellanox or PRTG is beneficial.
- Strong English and German communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Europe.
