Director of YouTube Strategy
Overview
Our client is seeking a Director of YouTube Strategy to lead the growth and performance of its YouTube presence across a portfolio of digital brands and content.
Working closely with Production, Editorial, Marketing and Distribution teams, you will define strategy, drive audience growth, optimise monetisation and use data-driven insights to maximise channel performance.
This is an on-site role based in Charlotte, NC, requiring four days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute YouTube growth strategy across multiple brands.
Drive audience growth, engagement and revenue.
Analyse channel performance and provide strategic recommendations.
Optimise content packaging, publishing and distribution.
Lead YouTube analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content and business objectives.
Requirements
8+ years' experience in digital media, YouTube strategy or audience development.
Proven success growing YouTube channels or digital video platforms.
Strong knowledge of YouTube analytics, monetisation and content optimisation.
Experience leading cross-functional projects.
Background in media, streaming or digital publishing preferred.
