We are delighted to welcome Robert Dugmore to the Christy Media Solutions team, joining us as a Business Development Manager. Rob has a wealth of experience in the broadcast media industry with a background in B2B sports media, including working at SportsPro and as a Sports Reporter for Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

Rob says: “There are a few exciting trends in the industry especially when considering sports media platforms and the streaming of large scale live sports; are the traditional subscription models for OTT going to stick around or will an AVOD approach take over the media we consume?

“Another interesting trend we are starting to really see take effect now is the rise in importance for remote production. Given the knock on effect of COVID-19, it’s becoming more and more important to be able to engage fans remotely and we have seen many esport events and returning live sports events embrace this with great results.”

Rob will be supporting the growth of the business and our global network of broadcast media, sport & entertainment customers.
