We are currently recruiting for a Vision Engineer to join a major broadcast company in Northern Ireland, to work across their studio facilities and outside broadcast events.
As Vision Engineer you will be responsible for the preparation, operation and support of their vision facilities, ensuring their high-quality output level is maintained. Your role will also include rigging and operating VT and vision mixing equipment and accurately setting up vision monitoring and camera outputs. The Vision Engineer will be a go-to person for technical issues, providing first line support and training for new team members whilst working with the Resource Manager to meet all technical requirements for productions.
Applicants should have demonstrable experience of vision engineering from a studio or OB setting with knowledge of systems such as; cameras, lighting, mixing, graphics, routing and control. In addition, you will have knowledge of baseband and digital video with HD-SDI being advantageous. Experience of IP networks, IP based signal routing and distribution and VR or AR studio systems is highly desirable.
The role will require the successful candidate to work shifts covering days, evenings and weekends, so candidates must be willing and flexible to do this.
