Video Implementation Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Video Implementation Engineer to join the growing team of a leading media services company.

As a Video Implementation Engineer, you will be part of the Implementation team, and will deliver solutions that cover the end to end content delivery platform for clients including major broadcasters, event venues and satellite teleports.

You will be heavily involved in the pre-build stage, building and testing network equipment off-site, ensuring configuration is complete, before putting together work packs for customers and Field Engineers and when required travelling to site to complete the physical installation. As part of your role you will also be responsible for coordinating customer meetings, producing related documentation/diagrams for all services that go over the media network and ensuring all required equipment is arranged for delivery to site.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for candidates with a broadcast engineering background who have been involved in physical implementation projects. An understanding of contribution and/or distribution networks, encoders/decoders and DVB compression technologies is important, as is an understanding of video over IP. Core networking skills are desirable and candidates must have knowledge of routing protocols. Previous experience racking equipment and wiring within a broadcast environment is also important.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an industry leader in a Central London location.

If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful and if you are fully eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions, then please apply now.
