A highly ambitious UK Sales Manager is required to join a leading IP/AV video technology company on a permanent basis.              

As UK Sales Manager you will report into the VP of Sales and work from a home office (based within an easy commute of London). You will play a key role in driving the sales of the company's systems into the public sector and be responsible for identifying potential leads with end users, systems integrators and channel partners.  You will need to develop strong productive relationships with key decision makers to maximise the commercial opportunities.

In this target-driven role, you will engage with and manage channel partners throughout the system design, delivery and solution support phases and help to deliver technical training, system demos and ultimately sales. You will also be responsible for forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual sales volumes for each assigned channel partner account.                 

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a proven track record of managing channel partner and reseller sales for an AV or IP technology vendor with strong relationships with IP and AV systems integrators.  Previous experience of generating sales in the UK public sector is also essential as is a good understanding of complex technical solutions with specific knowledge of IPTV, digital signage or complex AV solutions being highly advantageous. Being highly self-motivated and possessing an entrepreneurial spirit is vital as is excellent communications skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients.               

Applicants with an IT / SMATV sales background and a strong understanding of AV, convergence and multi-media technologies may also be considered.
