A Track Systems Technician is required to join a leading sports broadcasting company based in the South East of England, on a permanent basis.
As a Track Systems Technician you will be working as part of a close-knit team attending events around the world to install, commission, test and operate communication systems. The role will cover the commissioning of fibre optic networks and related electronic equipment, general wiring and termination of cables, inspection and testing of systems and the rigging and de-rigging of equipment.
To be considered for this role it is imperative that applicants have proven experience of working within a team and building good working relationships with colleagues. Technical experience across electrical, electronic or fibre optic communication systems is important, as is previous experience of working within a hands-on role that has involved the installation, rigging and commissioning of equipment. Any experience in areas such as fibre optic cabling or outside broadcasting would be highly advantageous. Please note our client will also consider applicants from an armed forces background who have worked across communication systems previously.
This role involves extensive travel; therefore, applicants must have a flexible working approach and be comfortable staying away from home for extended periods. Only candidates with a valid EU passport and EU driving licence can be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly, close-knit team and have the opportunity to travel the world.
If you feel this is the right role for you, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
