Senior Project and Customer Support Engineer

A leading broadcast software and systems manufacturer currently has an opportunity for a Senior Customer Support and Project Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Engineer you will install and commission broadcast systems for clients across the world, whilst mentoring more junior members of the team.

You will also provide user training and support both on site and remotely and attend trade shows where you will provide potential customers with demos. This is a customer facing role, with a high percentage of projects work where you will be representing the company, so excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems are essential.

Candidates will need to have a background in broadcast engineering and technology, with experience of working with broadcast playout and MAM systems ideally. Any experience with SQL databases and scripting languages would be advantageous. You will have experience of both support, installation and commissioning of the systems and be comfortable working directly with clients.

Candidates will need to be outgoing and enthusiastic with the ability to act calmly under pressure and have a real desire to learn new skills.

The job will require someone to travel internationally sometimes at short notice so candidates will need to be able to do this.
