Senior Project and Customer Support Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Project and Support Engineer to join a leading broadcast software and systems manufacturer on a permanent basis.

As a Senior Engineer you will install and commission broadcast systems for clients across the world, often taking the lead on projects whilst mentoring more junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and helping them to develop their skills. 

In addition, you will also provide high level user training and support both on site and remotely and attend trade shows where you will provide potential and existing customers with product advice and demonstrations.

Candidates will need to have a background in broadcast systems engineering, with experience of working with broadcast playout and MAM systems, ideally with knowledge of how these systems integrate with 3rd party systems and equipment including video servers, mixers, subtitling systems and graphics devices.  A good IT skill set is also important with experience of networking, SQL databases and scripting languages being ideal.  Candidates will also need to be outgoing and enthusiastic with strong communication skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.  You should also be able to act calmly under pressure with the drive to understand and solve problems and the desire to learn new skills.

The job will involve some travel internationally sometimes at short notice so candidates will need the flexibility to able to do this when required.
