We are currently working with a major sports broadcasting company that has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join its R&D team and play a key role, working on a range of bespoke systems, including electronics hardware, which support the delivery of video and data at major sporting events worldwide.

As a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer you will work across the complete development lifecycle, from initial requirement capture through to on-site deployment and handover, you will be responsible for ensuring all systems developed continuously meet the needs of the business. You will research new technologies and processes during the initial phase of development, ensuring the project requirements can be accomplished. During the development process, you will be working with all areas of the R&D team and help to produce high quality documentation, including design documents and test reports, organising and undertaking factory and on-site testing, analysing test data and drawing sound conclusions which can be fed back to initiate design changes.

During deployment, you will travel to major sporting events worldwide to ensure the systems are operating correctly and identify and resolve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Applicants should have a strong engineering background in electronics, embedded software and systems. Experience in the design and development of electronic systems from concept through to testing and deployment is essential, as is the ability to travel internationally to support the deployment process.

Experience in at least some of these additional technologies is also important: networking and serial protocols, Matlab and Simulink, analysis tools such as ATLAS and WinTAX, DSP, C, C++ and Python, VHDL and FPGA design, SysML and UML, and schematic capture and PCB design.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced company and be involved in developing state-of-the-art systems which help to deliver quality sports broadcasting coverage to millions of viewers worldwide.

If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role and you are fully eligible to work in the UK, then please apply now for consideration.
