A highly talented Search Marketing Manager, with a strong focus on integrated SEO and SEM, is required to join a major sports broadcast company based in Europe, on a permanent basis.

As a Search Marketing Manager, you will drive and continuously develop the global search strategy across various regions and languages a vital role in bringing a wide array of rich and unique content to audiences worldwide.

Working in close partnership with content, media, product and wider marketing teams, you will ensure SEO (search engine optimisation) and Paid Search / SEM (search engine marketing) is integrated into content creation processes and digital marketing campaigns, based on keyword research and relevant topics linked to consumer demands and market trends.

You will set search KPIs and targets to build new and regular audiences and increase rankings for high search / value keywords and volume based long tail search queries. You will track, analyse and report on SEO and SEM campaign performance and conduct analysis of top ranking competitor sites, using this data to develop actionable insights.

Evaluation of tools to scale and measure changes in SEO and devising link-building strategies will also be key responsibilities.

This position will require a hands-on approach, however you will also manage SEO agencies and coordinate the Paid Search activities of external resources.

Flexibility and a keenness to travel is also vital, as this position will involve regular travel internationally.

Candidates will have demonstrable experience working within digital marketing, with specialist skills in SEO or SEM / Paid Search, ideally having worked for a world-renowned brand with a strong online presence.

You will have strong knowledge of how to build search strategies across both organic and paid advertising and have a deep understanding of search engine crawling, indexing, ranking algorithms, landing page optimisation, keyword tools, analytics and testing.

A basic knowledge of website administration (HTML, CSS, JS) is required, with any additional programming skills being highly advantageous.
