Fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a highly successful and growing media technology company who are looking to expand their team. The company specialises in solutions that help organisations to manage their media and video assets with a focus on several sectors including broadcast, post production, sports, education and non-profit.
Working with a network of channel partners, as Sales Manager you will be focused on driving sales globally in all regions outside of North America. You will work with both channel partners and directly with end clients, following up on potential leads helping to maximise the conversion to sales. You will be working with technical and non-technical clients, so a good appreciation of broadcast and media technologies is important as is the ability to write proposals with the help of other members of the team.
Applicants should have a proven background in technology sales within the media, broadcast and/or entertainment industries. Specific knowledge of media asset management (MAM), archiving, storage and transcoding solutions would be ideal as would experience selling both via channels and directly to end clients. Previous experience of writing proposals is also important as are strong communication and negotiating skills.
The successful candidate can be based from home with travel into the office 1-2 days a week depending on the level of support required.
