Our broadcast media technology client is seeking a Project Support Engineer to be office based and provide assistance to global field-based project engineers. This opportunity will suit either an experienced Customer Support Engineer looking for an office based role now with no travel, or, a less experienced broadcast IT support engineer interested to move into a Project engineering based role. It could also suit a software test engineer looking to move into a broader projects-based role.
We are looking for candidates ideally with a good understanding of broadcast media operational or engineering workflows with any experience across playout, automation, transmission, MAM, graphics, subtitling etc. You will be involved with remote software installs, upgrades, config and testing and working in cloud and virtualised environments. Office based, with flexible working hours Mon-Fri 38-hours per week. Occasional out of hours working may be required for critical projects and paid out of hours support.
