A leading media workflow systems integration company is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its team on a permanent basis. The company is well established and works with major household-name companies across a wide variety of sectors, helping them to understand, develop and manage their media workflows and provides tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
In your role as Project Manager you will be focused on the delivery of projects to clients, coordinating resources to ensure a highly professional service is provided at all times and making certain that projects are delivered on time and to budget. As part of the role you will work closely with the Head of Development and the internal software development team, helping to prioritise tasks. You will also attend client meetings and be the key point of contact between the development team, client and third party vendors. You will facilitate excellent communication between the internal teams, running weekly and daily meetings and ensuring issues are escalated as necessary.
Applicants should have proven experience as a Project Manager in a media or broadcast environment, and have good knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, software support best practice in addition to the ability to write contracts and reports. Exceptional organisation and communication skills are also essential as is the ability to confidently deal with issues quickly and efficiently.
Any previous exposure to any or all of the following media technologies would be highly advantageous – MAM, transcoding, enterprise storage (SAN, NAS), the Cloud (AWS), LTO and backup technologies and server and network infrastructure.
