Project Manager

A leading broadcast equipment hire company require a Project Manager to join their Projects team on a permanent basis.

As a Project Manager you will work both in-house and on-location to deliver highly technical, large scale projects for some of the UK's top production companies. You will be responsible for liaising with clients and supervising a small team to efficiently manage the build, support and maintenance of major OB productions.

Whilst on-location you will provide technical management to the client and crew, to ensure minimum technical faults and rectify any issues as soon as possible. It's pivotal to the role that you are able to interpret requests from on-site crew to ensure all projects are delivered successfully, consistently exceeding client expectations.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate strong working knowledge of flyaway and OB trucks, including the build, technical support and live running of the systems. You will need thorough knowledge of both system and location cameras and their set-up, as well as an understanding of 4K over IP workflows. The role would suit someone who has an existing understanding of OB project delivery, or someone who is keen to step up into a project delivery capacity.

You must have a proven track record in successfully delivering large scale OB productions from a technical perspective, and demonstrate a willingness to continually work with new processes and technology to keep your team at the forefront of the industry. You will need to be a fantastic communicator who is calm under pressure and able to make key decisions in a fast paced environment.
