Procurement & Logistics Manager

We have an excellent permanent opportunity for a Procurement and Logistics Manager to join the busy projects and administration teams of an industry leader in the provision of highly technical and specialist lighting and AV solutions.

As the Procurement and Logistics Manager, you will work with the Project Managers to procure the specialist equipment and materials they require for major international projects, ranging from TV & Film Studios, Theatre & Staging and conference centres etc. You will also be responsible for the freight of this equipment, in addition to managing warehouse, logistical and staff functions.

You must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a Procurement and Logistics role within a technical environment. Any direct experience with lighting or sound equipment would be extremely beneficial, as would international freighting experience. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful supplier negotiations, with the commercial and business acumen to support this from a financial perspective.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, strong working knowledge of MS Word/Excel, great attention to detail and be highly organised.
