A Network Engineer is required to join a leading broadcast facility based in London on a permanent basis.
As Network Engineer you will be responsible for their key network systems ensuring maximum network uptime and working alongside the Broadcast IT Manager on projects to upgrade and improve their network facilities.
With the ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment you will be a point of escalation for the 1st and 2nd line support team, providing technical expertise and resolving issues to the network infrastructure and related workflows. As part of the role you will also lead the IT team in the Broadcast IT Manager's absence therefore it is important you have good communication skills and show the desire to lead or have demonstrable previous experience.
To be considered, you will need to be experienced in the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Cisco / Juniper switches, firewalls, monitoring tools such as Zabbix and networking protocols; DNS, DHCP, IGMP, SNMP, LACP/MLAG and MPLS. In addition, knowledge of Arista switches, network design principles, SMPTE 2110 and fiber channel experience would be advantageous. Candidates with CCNP knowledge would be highly beneficial although those with CCNA level knowledge will also be considered.
