An experienced Media Planning Manager is required to join a major television broadcaster based in London, on a permanent basis.
As Media Planning Manager you will lead the promo strategy team and drive innovation across the department and ensure that promo activities are fully integrated to support business goals.
You will be responsible for managing a team of Media Planners including their training and development to ensure all business objectives and department KPI's are met. A key part of this role will also involve running the team who are responsible for the use of their promo optimiser ensuring that commercial airtime is maximized and that campaigns are delivered as per set targets across linear and video on demand channels.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have strong experience working within media planning for a broadcast or TV agency. Those looking to take the step up into management will also be considered. It is vital that you have used audience analysis systems, have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with strong numerical skills and have experience in leading a variety of media planning projects.
Key stakeholder expectation management is essential, along with the confidence and ability to influence and persuade at a senior level by presenting well-formed arguments.
