A Media Planner is required to join a global television broadcast organisation based in London on a permanent basis.
As a Media Planner, you will support the Media Planning Manager, and will be responsible for producing strategic media plans across the company's channels and services, ensuring they meet business KPIs and objectives.
This role will involve taking a lead in the quarterly planning process, planning channel priorities, researching the most efficient audiences to target and presenting and explaining your media plans to Channel Heads and senior stakeholders. Other responsibilities will include the ongoing maintenance of all on air campaigns ensuring that campaign targets are continually being met in line with changing schedules, forecasts and predictions and that media planning grids are kept accurate and up to date.
You will carry out constant analysis of viewing behaviours and target audiences to spot trends and suggest recommendations on how to improve the viewing experience.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have previously worked in media planning within broadcast television or for a media agency with experience in campaign planning and audience profiling. This role requires a strong ability to translate data into practical recommendations and prioritise between different campaigns, products and services. It is also important that you can deal with senior stakeholders and are numerate with strong organisational skills and good attention to detail whilst working under pressure.
Working knowledge of AdvantEdge or a similar audience measuring tool would be highly advantageous, along with a passion for television.
