An experienced Media Operator is required for the Digital Media team of a leading broadcast services provider based in Central London, on an initial 6-month contract, with the opportunity for further extension.

As a Media Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, handling and delivering a wide array of existing and new content within VOD services, for customer set top boxes and devices.

Your duties will involve transcoding, media asset management (MAM), scheduling workflows, ensuring master materials are processed in line with QC and making sure all assets are managed and delivered accurately to tight deadlines / licence dates. As an intermediate level Media Operator, you will also be expected to suggest ideas for workflow improvements.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate strong transcoding experience within a digital media environment including IPTV. It is also important that you have a good understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, scheduling and MAM systems, file formats, HD / SD standards, compression and media processing software such as Amberfin, Interra Baton, EVS IP Director, Ateme and Telestream products or similar. Any additional experience of JIRA would be highly advantageous.

This position will be working on a shift basis including late evenings, weekends and public holidays, as well as possible night shifts in the future.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a major broadcast organisation in cutting-edge surroundings.

If you feel you have the right skills and experience to be successful in this role, then please apply with a copy of your Word CV now.

Please note, only applicants who are already fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship can be considered.
