An opening has recently been created for a Media Operations Manager to work for the University of Salford, based in the heart of MediaCity UK in Manchester. As the Media Operations Manager you will manage the organisational structure for digital IT within the University's specialist media facilities and also provide management and leadership to the creative technical teams and associated support staff.
Your additional responsibilities and duties will include managing contracts and SLA's with third party service providers ensuring value for money and continuous service improvements, managing the end to end operational delivery and performance for the support of all technical activities and also supporting all technical aspects of internal and external events, ensuring all technologies and resources required are available.
This role is most suited to candidates who are currently working as either a Studio Manager or Operations Manager within a broadcast environment, who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of studio operations, outside broadcasts and media production. You will also oversee 3 major projects that are scheduled for the next 2 years which will further enhance the technical and operational efficiencies of the organisation.
