An MCR Operator is required to join a fast-growing broadcast satellite service provider based in the South East of England, on a permanent basis.
As MCR Operator, you will monitor the playout and transmission of a variety of broadcast channels being distributed to various platforms across the world. The MCR Operations team are also responsible for providing 1st line maintenance across all playout equipment, identifying faults and escalating them to the Engineering team where necessary. This is a 24/7 environment and the successful candidate will work as part of a shift rota including nights, weekends and public holidays.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of encoding, satellite transmission, distribution and playout systems. Those who have a recent Broadcast Technology related degree or similar will also be considered.
It is also essential that you have a full driving licence and a strong appreciation of customer service with the ability to act calmly under pressure.
