A global television broadcaster has an excellent 6-month contract opportunity available for a MAM Media Coordinator to join its team, based in West London.
As the MAM Media Coordinator you will oversee the delivery of tape and file-based material required for ingest, from both internal and external suppliers, ensuring all material is catalogued accurately in the media asset management (MAM) system and Excel databases and that all workflows are prioritised correctly, according to transmission deadlines.
As the main point of contact for physical and file media content arriving and leaving the building, you will handle content queries and material requests, provide status updates, ensure database information is kept up-to-date and carry out housekeeping of all storage. You will raise, update and amend MAM workflows and completion dates for various content formats, monitoring issues and escalating problems appropriately.
You will support and provide cover for the Operations team as required, including out of core business hours and weekends, generating missing lists, communicating these lists to relevant departments and chasing material.

You will have working knowledge of media management practices, tape and file formats and broadcast systems such as MAM and tape logging.
