A Development and Maintenance Engineer is required for a permanent role with a leading provider of highly specialised camera systems for the television and film industries. The company has an excellent reputation and as a key part of their Engineering team you will be responsible for providing high quality support for the company's equipment and systems including working on site at major events both in the UK and abroad.
As Development and Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to troubleshoot faults, repairing down to component level when required, and provide expert technical advice to clients and internal staff. You will also design custom equipment and bespoke solutions to meet complex customer requirements, evaluating new technologies to ensure a tailored and high quality solution is offered.
Applicants should be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in an engineering related subject, with previous experience in the broadcast industry. A strong knowledge across current SDI video formats such as HD, 4k etc. is also important, as are good IT skills and ideally an understanding of IP networking. Any additional experience of PCB or mechanical design would also be beneficial.
