Multiple Live Programming Operators required for initial 12-month contract with a global broadcast organisation based in London.

As a Live Programming Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that programming requirements are fulfilled during live broadcasts, client expectations are met, and that you execute the correct procedures for live broadcast in cooperation with Ingest Operators, Live Technical Operators and Engineering.

Your duties will involve updating live broadcast bookings for live events, making sure that broadcasts are recorded when necessary, processing the recording accordingly for any intended re-run/use of material, instructing any emergency procedures, updating the scheduling system (What's On) during live broadcasts and making required adjustments to maintain the schedule.

You will also ensure content remains compliant to regulator guidelines and will be required to report any issues for follow-up; providing external reports required for the event.

To be considered for these roles, applicants must be able to demonstrate experience working in live broadcast within a live gallery or playout transmission environment. It is important that you have strong IT and decision-making skills with the ability to work well under pressure and are a great team player. An interest in sports would also be highly advantageous.

You must be able to work flexible hours as you will be required to work some evenings and weekends.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a major broadcaster on exciting live sports content.

If you feel you have the right skills and experience to be successful in this role then please apply with a copy of your Word CV now. Please note only applicants who are already fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship can be considered.
