A major sports broadcast organisation currently has multiple opportunities available for Live Ingest Operators to join its London based team on a permanent basis.
As a Live Ingest Operator you will be responsible for successfully ingesting and delivering file-based content whilst adhering to specific guidelines. Your duties will include QC'ing files prior to transmission and ingesting live content, whilst ensuring that it has been captured correctly on time and that all metadata is accurate. You will also be responsible for archiving content within the MAM system and ensuring that any issues that arise are escalated to the relevant technical teams efficiently.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have worked in a live broadcast environment with experience in ingesting or QC'ing content including transcoding and encoding. It is also important that you have working knowledge of video and audio file formats and codecs. Any experience with EVS IP Director would also be highly advantageous, but training will be provided.
You must have a flexible work approach as this role will be working in a 24/7 broadcast environment, therefore you must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, covering weekends, evenings and nights.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading sports broadcast organisation with the chance to grow your skill set and work in a very fast-paced environment.
Please note only applicants who are already fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship can be considered.
