Lead IT Engineer required to join a leading broadcast facility based in London, on a permanent basis.

As Lead IT Engineer you will be the key person responsible for the IP network architecture, suggesting ideas for new workflow projects and handling challenging complex interrelated networks.

Within the role you will ensure all technical faults are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible or alternative solutions are implemented to ensure the broadcast output is not affected. You will work with the Broadcast IT Manager and engineering teams to perform new installations, suggest designs for projects and future expansions and enforce policies without impacting the specialist needs of each department.

To be considered for this role applicants should have a proven background in a similar client facing IT support environment with demonstrable experience of TCP/IP networking, security and firewall configuration and network related protocols such as LACP, MPLS, DHCP, PIM or IGMP. Key experience also includes knowledge of Linux OS (Redhat/CentOS), maintenance of network equipment and virtualisation using VMWare. Any additional experience of working with SAN architectures or working in a broadcast environment would be highly beneficial.

This role would suit someone with experience of stepping into a senior role with a desire to lead, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt appropriately to clients, staff or colleagues.

This is a great opportunity to join a leading broadcast company producing a range of live content, so if you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role then please apply now for consideration.  Please note, only applicants who are already fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship can be considered.
