A Kitroom Operations Manager is required to join a broadcast equipment rental and production company on a permanent basis in London.
As a Kitroom Manager, you will be responsible for managing the kitroom team, including Supervisors and Assistants and will oversee their training and development. In addition, your role will include logistics management and warehouse organisation, ensuring a clean and tidy warehouse, regular stock takes and pre-empting potential equipment conflicts. Working with the wider teams, you will also use your technical knowledge of the equipment to advise on technical solutions for any ongoing or urgent projects.
To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrable background and knowledge of broadcast kit across cameras, lighting and audio. Experience of overseeing teams in either a managerial or supervisory capacity is also essential with a management style that sees you able to communicate with the team in both a pleasant but firm manner. With the fast-paced nature of this position, you will be overseeing the movement of kit, staff, projects and logistics simultaneously and so you will need the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
