An exciting opportunity for a Junior Technician to join a leading provider of specialist broadcast camera equipment. Working alongside some of the most highly respected and talented senior engineers, you will work on location rigging and de-rigging specialist camera equipment, for an array of productions from sport and news, to entertainment and reality.
As Junior Technician, your role will also consist of providing technical support both on-site for clients and for the internal operations team, preparing, loading and transporting kit to client sites and undertaking equipment maintenance and cleaning upon return to the warehouse.
As part of this industry-renowned team, you will work with cutting-edge, unique technology covering speciality remote camera and tracking systems, minicam setups and exciting underwater kit.
To be successful in this fantastic opportunity, we are looking for engineers in the early stages of their careers who are keen to delve into broadcast engineering. The role would be highly suited to someone with an engineering degree (or equivalent), understands basic broadcast engineering, holds experience working on location and is an excellent problem solver.
Please note, this team operate on a project-based shift rota, so you will be required to work flexible hours according to events, including late nights and weekends. You will accumulate hours/days outside of these days.
Candidates may also be required to handle/lift heavy equipment and work at heights. To be considered for this role, you must also hold a valid UK driving license.
