Junior Support Engineer required for a permanent opportunity with a leading broadcast and post production technology provider, based in the South East of England.
As a Junior Support Engineer, you will provide remote telephone and on-site technical customer support for leading television broadcasters, media organisations and post-production facilities across the UK.
You will troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software and hardware related issues, covering products such as Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, ISIS, Interplay, Adobe Premiere Pro, BlackMagic and Editshare. You will also liaise with technology partners and third-party vendors to find innovative solutions to problems quickly and ensure full customer satisfaction.
This opportunity would suit those who have recently studied a Broadcast Technology or Engineering related degree or similar qualification or have equivalent industry experience, with a good knowledge of post-production technologies, editing or storage products. Alternatively, candidates that have been trained as an Editor or Operator will also be considered.
