A Junior Projects Engineer is required to join a leading broadcast equipment and outside broadcast company in the South East of England on a permanent basis.
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and other specialist Engineers to support the team's engineering effort in the planning, build and deployment of brand new, bespoke systems which lead the way in outside broadcasting.
You will learn to build, programme and test systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet the client’s requirements, whilst balancing kit choices with the need to meet time and budget restrictions.
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will also work alongside your team to provide onsite engineering and operational support, so it is pivotal that you are able to communicate effectively with clients and learn to identify their technical requirements.
This fantastic opportunity would suit someone in the early stages of their career, with a degree (or similar qualification) across electronic, communication or broadcast engineering.
Existing understanding of broadcast productions, HD or UHD Outside Broadcast setups, or IP workflows would be highly advantageous but not essential.
Our client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about new technology, with a strong technical aptitude and interest in learning. It’s also pivotal that you are able to remain calm whilst working in high pressured environments, adhere to strict deadlines and be highly self-motivated.
This is a hugely exciting time to join the company as they continue their work using new and emerging technologies on some of the industry’s most high-profile productions, including major upcoming sporting events such as 2020 Euros and the Summer Olympics! If you feel you have the skills to excel then please do apply now!
