A leading broadcast technology company has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join its London-based team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a broadcast systems engineering background looking to make their first move into project management.
As Project Manager you will be working across the project life-cycle, from pre-sales stage through to the management of projects post sale, ensuring their successful delivery on time and to budget. You will have direct responsibility for the management of timelines and technical resources throughout the project, liaising with the development team to oversee the development of customer specific software and overseeing the installation and on-site acceptance. You will also be responsible for managing the ongoing relationship with the customer, ensuring client satisfaction and maximising the potential for repeat business.
Technical skills within broadcast systems engineering are essential, with knowledge of playout automation, media asset management, video servers etc being of interest. Additional knowledge in networking, SQL or virtualisation technologies would be highly advantageous, as would any exposure to project management methodologies such as Prince 2 or PMQ / APMP.
Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential, as is the ability to act calmly under pressure, with the motivation to work on your own or as part of/leading a team.
Although there isn't a high percentage of travel involved, candidates will need to be comfortable with international travel when required, possess a UK/EU driving license and have EU nationality.
If you feel you have the skills and experience for this opportunity and you are keen to gain experience with a global broadcast technology company, in a project management role, then please apply now for consideration.
