We are currently working with a leading multinational broadcast systems company who is looking to recruit an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their technical team based on site at a live news broadcaster based in London. This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract with good possibilities of extension.
As IT Systems Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the entire internal corporate IT infrastructure. You will ensure all technical faults are resolved quickly and efficiently providing alternative solutions to ensure key functionality is available when required. You will also work closely with the broadcast engineering team providing your expertise on IT related issues whilst working with technology providers to ensure escalation support is in place for key business critical systems.
To be considered for this role applicants should have a proven background in providing support in a high-pressure internal IT environment with exposure to supporting a wide range of IT systems and technologies. Key experience required includes strong knowledge of; Windows Server Administration (2012R2, 2016), Active Directory and Office 365 administration (Exchange and Azure). Any additional networking skills would be highly advantageous.
In addition to the technical experience it is essential applicants also have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Although the role is standard hours, as the company operate in a live 365 days a year environment this position is required to work weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
