Digital Platform Support Engineer

An exciting opportunity to work with a global broadcast organisation based in London who are looking to recruit a Digital Platform Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is critical in the monitoring and support of the company's digital platforms and video feeds as well as supporting the IT infrastructure and responding to all incidents. You will act as primary point of contact for all digital playout issues and be responsible for monitoring their production network for major events.

To be considered for Digital Platform Support Engineer, our client is looking for applicants who can demonstrate previous experience working in digital technical operations or a media operations environment with experience of monitoring and supporting digital platforms from a technical perspective. Candidates must have previously handled HD and SD video feeds and have experience of cloud environments particularly AWS or Azure. Working knowledge of ServiceNow or a similar call management application is also required.

This is a shift-based role and candidates must be flexible to work early mornings, evenings and weekends. Please note night shifts are rare but will be required when working on major broadcasting events.
