A Customer Support Engineer is required to join a leading broadcast media technology solutions provider on a permanent basis. The company is seeking to design and build new real-time 3D OpenGL products, web technologies (HTML5), touch technology, MultiThreading, video MPEG streaming, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), image tracking, graphics systems.
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will gain exposure to a wide array of different technologies within both pre and post-sales environments, covering installation, the configuration of products/systems and also fault diagnosis and rectification of any issues that may arise. This role will also cover product demonstrations, software testing and maintenance of company infrastructure.
The role would be ideal for an experienced windows SysAdmin/Server Engineer, with some experience in the broadcast sector. An ability to present a professional image to customers is essential. Any additional experience in Mac or Linux systems would also be an advantage.
This role is both site and field-based, and the successful applicant will need to be flexible to travel both in and outside of the UK.
