Exciting opportunity for a Customer Success Manager with a strong technical sales background within the OTT or IPTV space, to join a cutting-edge broadcast technology company based in London, on a permanent basis.
As a Customer Success Manager, you will work in a hybrid capacity covering activities across sales, marketing, professional services, training and support and play a key role within the international Sales division. As such, this role will also offer a lucrative bonus scheme.
From a technical standpoint, you will be responsible for the completion of RFPs for large customer projects and work in partnership with the Sales Lead who will own the commercial aspect.
You will take full ownership of all technical communication with prospective customers, deliver product demonstrations, test the company's video encoding solutions with client content and be responsible for proof of concepts.
As part of the sales engagement process, you will gather technical requirements from customers and work closely with product management and service delivery teams to design robust solutions and systems architecture to suit the client's needs. You will prepare and deliver presentations outlining the full proposed solution to the customer and gain final approval.
You will ensure the full end-to-end delivery of projects from demo to deployment, ensuring client timescales are met and the highest quality of customer service is provided throughout the process. You will also share learning across key customer accounts with marketing, sales and channel partner teams and provide client feedback to product teams.
This position will involve travel to client sites across the UK and internationally - candidates must therefore be willing and flexible to travel, sometimes at short notice.
To be successful in this role, applicants will have a proven background within technical pre-sales, solution architecture or business development, ideally having previously worked for a technology company selling video encoding, compression, IPTV or OTT solutions.
You will have a deep understanding of video codecs, encoding and online video technologies.
You will be able to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously across a wide array of client accounts and have an excellent track record of meeting or exceeding company goals and targets.
As this position will involve a high level of collaboration with various internal teams and extensive client-facing activities, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels, including executive and senior management, are vital.
You will also be able to change your communication style to suit both business and technical audiences as necessary.
