Cloud Support Engineer

Multiple Cloud Support Specialists are required to join a leading multinational systems and technology company on a permanent basis.

As Cloud Support Specialist you will be responsible for the 24/7 technical support of the company's new cloud-based solution providing 1st and 2nd line support to broadcast and media companies across the world. The majority of the role will be providing remote support via phone and email, although you may need to travel to customer sites when required.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include providing technical induction to new clients and new users, providing ongoing training and providing customer feedback to internal product teams.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or have the equivalent practical experience in an IT, engineering or media technology related subject, with technical knowledge of cloud and virtualisation technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google cloud and VMWare vSphere. Any additional knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes would be highly advantageous as would knowledge of the broadcast or media industries.

Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal are essential (German is highly beneficial) as is a willingness and flexibility to travel internationally when required.  

Please note this is a 24/7 shift based position which will include nights and weekends.
