Chief Broadcast Engineer

A Chief Broadcast Engineer is required to join a highly successful TV and Film production company on a permanent basis in South Wales.

As Chief Broadcast Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of 500+ hours of live and pre-recorded content whilst managing a team of talented engineers supporting their technical facilities covering playout, studio, post-production and MCR operations. In addition, you'll undertake projects such as the planning, design and implementation of emerging broadcast technologies, infrastructure upgrades and expansions.

As an integral member of the company, you'll also play a key role in liaising with senior management to drive the company's future goals and working with your team to achieve their full potential.

To be considered for this role, you will be an approachable and pro-active manager or stepping up into this role currently with a proven background in broadcast engineering and technical knowledge across any of the following areas: live studios (cameras, vision mixers and routers), post-production (Avid Interplay, ISIS/Nexis), OB / newsgathering or MCR (satellite downlinking, fibre distribution, video server playout and ingest).
