A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Technician to join a leading provider of specialist broadcast camera equipment. Working alongside some of the most highly respected and talented Senior Engineers, you will work on location where you will be responsible for rigging and de-rigging specialist camera equipment for an array of productions, from sport and news, to entertainment and reality.
As Junior Technician you will also provide technical support both on-site for clients and for the internal operations team, preparing, loading and transporting kit to client sites and undertaking equipment maintenance and cleaning upon return to the warehouse.
As part of this industry-renowned team, you will work with cutting-edge, unique technology covering speciality remote camera and tracking systems, minicam setups and exciting underwater kit.
To be successful in this opportunity, we are looking for Engineers in the early stages of their careers who are keen to develop their experience in broadcast engineering. The role would be highly suited to someone with an engineering degree (or equivalent), understands basic broadcast engineering, holds experience working on location and is an excellent problem solver.
Please note, this team operate on a project-based shift rota and therefore you will be required to work flexible hours according to events. This will include late nights and weekends and you will accumulate hours/days back for this.
To be considered for this role, you must also hold a valid UK driving license. Please be aware that you may also be required to handle/lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
