A leading broadcast equipment hire company currently has a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join its successful, fast-paced team, on a permanent basis.
As a Business Development Manager you will work closely with the sales team and Account Managers to develop growth strategies and optimise commercial opportunities, with a focus on identifying, securing and developing revenue opportunities from new areas within the broadcast, production and AV industries.
You will be responsible for maximising sales from new and existing accounts, so it is fundamental that you are ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic about securing successful sales and achieving personal targets.
We are looking for an adept communicator with a proven sales record, who is a fantastic negotiator, well-organised and thrives in a challenging environment. You will also need to be passionate about the opportunities to work with major clients and an array of leading broadcast and production equipment.
This role will involve attending client meetings and travelling to client sites, in order to develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts, so the position can offer an element of home-working; however the successful candidate will need to be able to work in the office whenever required.
