We are currently working with a leading PR, marketing and events agency that specialises in the broadcast and media industry and has a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join its passionate team on a permanent basis.
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business leads through various sales techniques. You will need to be confident calling both existing and prospective clients, 'cold calling' on companies at industry trade shows and networking events, and developing incoming leads.
Our client is looking for a natural sales professional with the confidence, aptitude and enthusiasm to successfully secure key business opportunities. You will need to be experienced in conducting effective client research in order to plan and deliver successful sales pitches and proposals. You will also need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the broadcast and/or AV industries, ideally in a business development role and any additional experience working within PR/marketing would be highly advantageous. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be an adept 'people person' and demonstrate a positive, pro-active attitude.
This role offers the flexibility to be based from either London or Buckinghamshire and our client would consider part-time hours for the right candidate.
