A Vision Engineer is required to work in the busy studios of a leading broadcast facility across a variety of small to large projects, working in collaboration with your colleagues and wider teams to meet operational and production needs.
As Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of studio equipment, ensuring all technical faults are resolved and consistently working to your highest technical ability often under programme and/or operational pressures. In addition, you will accurately line-up vision monitoring facilities and operate camera colour balance and other engineering set-up controls.
Working within a supportive, fun environment and in collaboration with other departments, you will suggest innovative solutions to streamline projects and also be involved in build and refurbishment projects as required.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have experience and a good understanding around UHD and HD baseband vision systems, TCP/IP networking and IP standards including SMPTE 2022, 2110, AES67 and Dante. Demonstrable experience of Vision Mixers, Sony Cameras, Multiviewers and Axon's Cerebrum Control System is extremely advantageous as is knowledge of the rigging and configuration of EVS LSM.
