A Broadcast Technician is required to join a leading broadcast organisation on an initial 18-month tax free fixed-term contract.
Working as a Broadcast Technician, responsibilities will include providing first line support to their fixed and mobile infrastructure as well as providing routine maintenance to technical broadcast equipment for Radio, Television and digital cinema services.
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for applicants that have gained commercial experience working in either a television or radio environment providing technical support to broadcast equipment. This post would suit a recent graduate who has an excellent working attitude and who is willing to learn from the on-site Engineering Manager. A degree in broadcast technology / audio engineering or equivalent would be desirable with any commercial experience working for the University Radio station or TV studio in a technical capacity. Ex-military staff who have worked as a Technician / Engineer with good Electrical experience will also be considered.
Please note this role will be working in a remote location so applicants must be willing to relocate. Accommodation and food will be provided along with 2 return flights per year.
