A leading broadcast services provider currently has two excellent permanent opportunities available for Broadcast Support Engineers to join its team based in the South East UK.
As a Broadcast Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing support and maintenance engineering across live television studios, production galleries, MCR facilities and post production suites. Both roles will be shift-based (11 / 12 hour shifts) including early starts, late finishes, nights and weekends.
Applicants must have strong organisational, time management and fault-finding skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently. You will ideally have previous experience of providing routine and preventative maintenance and support across broadcast technologies and systems such as Avid, EVS workflows (IP Director and XT servers), production switchers, broadcast cameras, audio and video routers, sound desks, audio mixers and modular glue infrastructure. You should also possess an in-depth understanding of TV Engineering principles and be able to provide assistance as required on broadcast installation projects.
Our client will also consider recent graduates who have a Broadcast Technology related degree with a good level of IT and networking skills (including TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, routers and switchers) being advantageous. Additional AutoCAD experience would also be desirable.
This is a fantastic chance to join a leading broadcast organisation and work within a friendly, tight-knit team. Our client is offering a highly competitive basic salary and generous benefits package including: private medical insurance, income protection, life assurance, employee profit share scheme and pension.
