A Broadcast Operations Manager is required to join a leading international broadcast organisation based in London. This will be on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with a high possibility of becoming permanent.
As Broadcast Operations Manager, you will manage all technical and broadcast systems that support the day-to-day running of the company's operation and will work very closely with the Head of Operations in delivering projects and new services.
A key part of this role will be to run and maintain day-to-day relationships with multiple service providers and internal teams, monitoring service levels and SLA reporting metrics, as well as updating all system documentation including incident reports and escalation procedures.
There are many other varied duties involved, including finding solutions to technical emergencies in relation to channel broadcast and distribution, operational management of localisation services, budget management, office facilities management and producing presentations for key stakeholders to provide an update on industry practices.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate a proven background in operations management in the broadcast industry, with the ability to manage and maintain relationships with multiple cross-functional teams across different sites. You must be able to work across multiple projects at any one time, be a self-starter, have excellent planning and reporting skills and be confident working with a variety of systems across IT, broadcast scheduling and rights management.
Any additional knowledge of Agile or Prince 2 methodologies would also be highly advantageous.
