We are currently working with a leading broadcast equipment rental and crewing company that has an exciting opportunity for a Broadcast Engineer / Technical Manager to join its team on a permanent basis.
As Broadcast Engineer and Technical Manager you will have a passion for the industry and take responsibility for designing, delivering and supporting simultaneous projects for TV and Film across the world covering studio, location and OB productions. Collaborating with clients, you will work together to create custom solutions for their productions, from multi-camera to flypack systems, ensuring the highest standard of delivery and support from all staff.
This role would suit someone who has strong broadcast engineering experience across both studios and OB's with excellent knowledge across a range of broadcast equipment including cameras, audio, lighting & grip packages, as well as knowledge of HD and state of the art formats.
You should have experience of broadcast systems design and wiring, post production workflows, the maintenance and repair of broadcast technical equipment down to component level and the ability to read electronic schematic diagrams. Applicants should also be comfortable client-facing and able to communicate technical information clearly and accurately, whilst having a strong appreciation of the commercial aspects involved.
Due to the nature of this role the flexibility to travel across the UK and abroad is essential, as is a willingness to work flexible and unsociable hours at times, depending on project requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a close knit team on some exciting technical projects. If you feel this could be the right challenge for you and if you are fully eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
