We are currently working with a major broadcaster that has a requirement for an Application Support Analyst to join its London-based team on an initial 4-month contract.
As an Application Support Analyst you will be providing 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support to users of the broadcaster's revenue and research systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the systems run at the highest standards of availability, reliability and performance, working closely with Operations, Tech and Project teams to resolve any issues and consistently enhance performance.
To be successful in this role you must have proven experience working within application/software support teams and be a proficient user of service desk software tools. You must also have a strong technical aptitude and excellent communications skills in order to explain concepts to 'non-technical' people.
Ideally, candidates will have good understanding of the broadcast media sector and knowledge of ad-sales workflows and channel management. Product knowledge of BTS, Wide Orbit Digital Hub and Techedge would be hugely beneficial, as would understanding of MMSQL, Oracle or MS Active Directory. ITIL foundation would also be highly desirable, as would experience with Service Now.
