Sales Account Director - New York, USA - 12m FTC Contract
An award-winning, global cloud-based video technology vendor has an urgent vacancy for a technically astute, sales oriented Account Director, based in New York, to drive new business development activities and expand their broadcast media & sports customer base across the East Coast, USA. This job will be an initial 12-month contract position, with a view to extending this longer-term / becoming permanent. As the US Eastern Sales Account Director, you will head up all sales activities with a highly consultative approach, understanding customer pain points and articulating the real value of technology and complex cloud video solutions. Leveraging your existing network of C-level industry contacts, you will create new business opportunities with broadcasters, entertainment & production companies, news organizations, sports federations, clubs & rights holders, esports & gaming networks, post production houses and additionally emerging markets presenting similar verticals. Candidates will ideally have a genuine passion for sports, a deep technical understanding of broadcast media technology workflows and an exceptional track record of closing multi-million dollar deals and exceeding sales targets. A proven record of selling video editing or production technology into television, OTT streaming, live sports and entertainment industries is preferred, however, experience of selling cloud-based technology platforms or SaaS solutions will also be considered. You will be highly driven, hungry, a self-starter, self-sufficient and dynamic, with excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. This position will be home-based, but you must be located in or within a commutable distance of New York. Applicants must be prepared to travel to meet with customers, regularly attend exhibitions & conferences and enjoy networking and identifying new customers to speak with. Sales Director - Broadcast / AV
We are seeking an experienced Senior Broadcast and AV Sales professional to head up all UK and international sales activities for a Broadcast Media and Audio Visual technology solutions company. As Head of Sales / Sales Director, you will report directly to the MD, and work closely together to help build the sales strategy and then be responsible for all day-to-day business development and new business activities. You need to be a confident and experienced sales professional - able to research, locate, win, and maintain relationships with prospective companies. This role could suit also suit a senior sales or business development manager looking for the next step. You will need to be able to demonstrate you have existing client relationships also outside the broadcasting sector ideally with customers from corporate, government, education or financial sectors. You will need to demonstrate experience selling broadcast solutions in (any of) production/studios, broadcast infrastructure and post systems integration. Additionally the ideal sales head will have experience selling Pro-AV related solutions, for example, designing and building auditoriums, theatres or video conferencing technology solutions. The role is home based, but you will be required to be able to meet customers and visit the office on a weekly basis. You will also on occasion represent the company at international shows and events. You must be a self-starter, bringing ambition and drive to the role. Broadcast Sales Account Manager
We have an excellent permanent opportunity available for a customer-focused Broadcast Sales Account Manager to join an award-winning global broadcast service provider & cloud technology vendor, based in London. As a Sales Account Manager, you will take full ownership of your assigned customer accounts and build key, long-term & fruitful relationships with top tier broadcasters, content owners, Pay TV platforms and OTT video streaming channels, including live news and sports media organisations. You will grow existing business, upsell and win new business through a consultative solution sales approach, covering OTT, cloud playout and monetisation technologies. Taking the time to truly understand the customer’s business goals, requirements & pain points, you will identify opportunities to sell cutting-edge technology solutions that solve problems and bring real value. Candidates will have a proven track record of broadcast technology sales, key account management and a good technical understanding of broadcast workflows, content delivery, playout & OTT streaming solutions. Any additional experience of selling cloud, SaaS or dynamic ad insertion (DAI) products would also be highly advantageous. You will be highly motivated, dynamic, have genuine enthusiasm and possess an entrepreneurial mindset, along with the ability to articulate the value of technology.
